Acworth Young Chefs Academy The Acworth Young Chefs Academy (YCA) provides culinary instruction for children ages 3-15, helping to build essential cooking skills and nutrition awareness. The goal is to not only establish basic kitchen techniques, but to encourage smarter food choices.Our classes promote learning through creativity, exploration, and discovery! Recipes are read together so that children can learn new words and practice cognitive skills. Students are prompted to notice the science of how foods react to physical and chemical stimuli. Math acumen is used to review measuring, counting, and weighing concepts. We also speak tothe art of food presentation and discuss the cultural &historical influences on food.Our recipes are based on learning themes which changeweekly.
